A Note from the Founder
SitterCircle was born from a simple belief: every family deserves childcare they can trust.
Before moving to Germany in 2019, I owned and operated a daycare in Nigeria. That experience taught me how important reliable, professional childcare is to parents and their children.
After arriving in Germany in 2019, I worked with families through Betreut. I first worked in Hamm before moving to Berlin in 2023. During that time, I provided English-first childcare, supporting children through play, conversation, and everyday learning.
Over the years, I experienced firsthand how much families value having a trusted babysitter they can rely on. Families need someone who understands their children, fits into their routines, and can be there when they need support. However, no matter how committed I was, I could only be in one place at a time.
That experience inspired me to create SitterCircle, a trusted childcare service built on the same values that have guided me throughout my career: trust, reliability, professionalism, and genuine care for children.
Every SitterCircle sitter is carefully selected and personally vetted by me. I only invite people onto the team who meet the high standards I would expect of myself because I believe trust isn't built through technology alone. It's built by the people who care for your children.
